LFO

Saturday 28 February, 7PM | $10 | Elevator ARI

LFO returns to Elevator ARI for another evening dedicated to improvisation and exploratory sound practice.

This edition features Monastic Whale (STACKS) , an immersive spatial drone work that splits a sustained synthesiser into eight pitch-shifted intervals arranged in a circular speaker field, shifting between harmonic beauty and chaotic intensity while live guitar and piano reshape the system in real time.

Johnny T & The Adrenalinn Rush delivers a high-energy dialogue between human and machine, built around the Adrenalinn pedal as the central compositional engine. Loops, fuzz, tension and release unfold live, unpredictable and visceral.

ArtPleasley brings a kaleidoscopic blend of funk, texture, and songwriting shaped by global influence yet grounded in the Northern Rivers, a multi-instrumental performance charged with groove and presence.

LFO is an ongoing series exploring live experimentation, system-based performance, and the unstable edge between control and emergence.
